Our Story

Harv and Higam was established in 1971 by Hiram Smith in Salt Lake City, UT. Hiram passed to his son, owner Doug Smith, a belief in family business, strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

Through his tradition and passion for hard work, Harv and Higam Masonry has established an unprecedented reputation as masonry contractors who complete each project with quality, superb safety, service, and scheduling.

Doug Smith

Doug Smith, owner and president of Harv & Higam Masonry since taking over the business in 1999 from his father Hiram (Higam) Smith. Higam started the company in 1971. Doug is a great leader and a businessman with integrity.
